Tinctures are a common way to ingest Hemp Extract Oil. Tinctures allow you to have more flexibility when it comes to serving sizes. They travel well and can be administered in many different ways whether it be sublingually, orally or infused. Sublingual application, or application under the tongue, allows for the active ingredients of CBD oil to be directly absorbed through the mucous membrane in the mouth. There are many capillaries, or tiny blood vessels, under the tongue which transfer directly to the bloodstream. The 500 mg serving size is great for general wellness maintenance and inflammation throughout the body.

This Vina Bell branded tincture (also called drops) contains 500mg of full spectrum hemp (also
called CBD) in a 30ml bottle. There are 16mg per serving. The CBD is delivered via hempseed
oil. One dropperful, which is 15 drops, equals approximately 16mg of CBD per serving and this
bottle- at that dosage- will provide a 30 day supply.
The tincture is best delivered sublingually which means you should put the drops under your
tongue and wait until it dissolves. You could add it to food or beverage but that will dilute some
of its potency. Used sublingually, the CBD will go to your source of inflammation in about 15
minutes. If you decide to take a larger dose than 16mg it is recommended to take the tincture a
couple times a day rather than all in one dose. Most users either take one dose in the morning or
one after dinner/before bedtime. If two doses are used, users often take one dose in the morning
and then another after dinner/before bedtime.
Because each person has different physiology you may have to experiment a bit. But the goal is
to find the lowest dose that gives you some relief. You may also want to consider using CBD
gum or Soothing Ice to supplement your tincture use. As with the use of any nutritional
supplement, you should consult with your doctor or physician prior to use.
