Shatta Garcia Mejia, is an expert in education and a life-long seeker of knowledge. From teacher to principal to curriculum director to content director for the leading K-12 education materials provider, Shatta’s passion is helping others develop their knowledge and skills. As a Denver native, Shatta has experienced first-hand how cannabis benefits those who need natural pain relief and how the legalization has a boon for tax coffers and provides for a much needed change to unjust incarceration.  Shatta ensures that our courses and seminars use proven pedagogy.

ANDREA DOW, M.Ed, Director of Wellness

Andrea Gerrard Dow, M.Ed. is a wellness consultant, a writer, a yoga teacher, an educator, and a massage therapist who is dedicated to discovering ways to regain our connection with nature as a source of healing. Diagnosed with Hodgkin’s Lymphoma as a teenager then thyroid cancer in her early 20’s, Andrea is intimately familiar with the journey from fear and despair to recovery and vitality. She is a active advocate of self-care and healing. Andrea ensures that the OCH community has the knowledge, confidence, and quality CBD products to explore their personal wellness. 

 
 
 

BETH MEJIA, M.A.T., Director of Learning & Education

Beth Mejia has spent three decades in creating and launching best-selling learning materials. She has led product and marketing teams at McGraw-Hill, Pearson, Macmillan and Triumph Learning. As President of EyeLevel Educational Consulting, her team of instructional designers and content experts regularly assist universities and companies to imagine, create and launch online courses and programs. Her clients include W.G.U., Capella University, Barnes & Noble Education, The Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation and McGraw-Hill Education.

 
 
 

ROBERT MARTINEZ, M. ARCH, MBA, Community Relations

As a lifelong student of environment and human interaction, Robert has continually engaged volunteerism to promote his learning. Over the years he has discovered the healing power of natural medicines particularly those that support the endocannabinoid system and advocates for natural health and wellness. Robert is the liaison with local medical communities, regional cannabis networks, and natural medicine programs.

Jessie Gill, RN—OCH Adviser

 Jessie is a cannabis nurse with a background in holistic health and hospice.  After suffering a spinal injury, she reluctantly became a medical marijuana patient then quickly transitioned into an advocate. Her site, MarijuanaMommy.com teaches new patients how and why to use cannabis while challenging the stigma against marijuana use. Jessie is an established expert in the cannabis industry. Her work has reached hundreds-of-thousands. She speaks at conferences around the country and has been cited by publications such as High Times and Forbes.
